HP 670 Rethinking Preservation

Spring 2019

Live, 8 students

This is the second time the course has been offered live. Subject matter was updated to address new issues in preservation that arose over the past year such as new laws and policies to repatriate looted artifacts, change in the protection of intangible cultural heritage, and new policies on climate change. Additionally, the final project was changed from a paper submitted by each student to a group project in which students created a museum exhibit on a subject of their choice.
